Kelly Williams received her undergraduate degree, a B.A. in English, from Belhaven University and then went on the attend law school at Mississippi College School of Law where she received her J.D. in 2006. Kelly worked with a Jackson law firm until 2009, at which time she engaged in a solo practice before forming the law firm of Coughlin & Williams, PLLC. Kelly was appointed as a Special Designee five years ago and has acted in that capacity presiding over abuse and neglect adjudications and delinquent proceedings. While acting as a Judge, Kelly has acted in an ethical manner and has exhibited judicial temperament in furtherance of the integrity of the judicial system and in a manner that has served the community as well.
