In another Republican Primary, incumbent Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney raised $116,425 and has $338,089 cash-on-hand. He is being challenged by John Mosley, owner of the Clinton Body Shop. Mosley is running over a dispute with insurance companies involving manufacturer versus after-market parts for repairs. Mosley raised $46,250 ($33,000 of it from himself and his wife) and has $20,674 cash-on-hand. The Reform candidate for Insurance Commissioner did not file a report.
