Mr. [Jerry] Ledbetter did a lot of prior research before going to the board of aldermen,” said Mayor Cecil Belle. “We’re doing a five-year study about how we can better serve our customers in electricity and water in general and address future needs for towers and water wells. In order to do that, we have to put something in place, and this is the first step.”
