Emily Alexander is a Picayune native and 2012 graduate from Mississippi College. Emily finally chose Communications as her major after changing her major six times in college. Though she looked into other careers, she always came back to broadcast journalism. In fact, when Hurricane Isaac hit South Mississippi in 2012, Emily did live reports from her backyard with an iPhone to keep the people of Pearl River County informed. Emily’s first job in TV was as a Producer and part time reporter in Biloxi at WLOX.
