Brian Perry is a partner in Capstone Public Affairs. His column, Reasonably Right, appears weekly in the Madison County Journal and other newspapers in Mississippi. Perry has worked on campaigns from mayor and supervisor to attorney general, state supreme court and governor. He served as political director for the Mississippi Republican Party and communications director for the Mississippi Family Council (now the Mississippi Center for Public Policy). He was the founding editor of MagnoliaReport.com and served as assistant editorial page director and columnist for the Madison County Journal. Perry assisted in the writing, editing and research of two books for retired Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Charles W. Pickering, Sr.: "Supreme Chaos: The Politics of Judicial Confirmation and the Culture War" (2005) and "A Price Too High: The Judiciary in Jeopardy" (2006). In 2007, he was spokesperson for the re-election campaign of Governor Haley Barbour. Perry served on the staff of Congressman Chip Pickering for five years before joining Capstone. At Capstone, Perry specializes in strategic communication, grassroots and grasstops advocacy and engagement, political research and media relations.
